Galvalume Steel Corrugated Roof Sheet

Galvanized zinc metal roof panel is a kind of building material. It is made of aluminized zinc coil, which is a steel coated with a mixture of 55% aluminum, 43.4 zinc and 1.6 silicon through a hot-dip aluminized zinc process. The aluminum-zinc alloy protects the base steel from corrosion and rust. It has many favorable characteristics, such as high heat resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, excellent formability, high reflectivity, etc. It is therefore suitable for most applications, including extreme environments.

Superior Corrosion Resistance
The aluminum layer makes the aluminized zinc steel have excellent corrosion resistance. When the zinc wears, the aluminum will form a dense aluminum oxide layer, preventing the corrosion-resistant substance from further corroding the interior. Therefore, the corrosion resistance of GL plate is 3 times that of galvanized plate. Under the same circumstances, the service life of GL roof panels is 2-6 times that of GI roof panels.
High Thermal Reflectivity
Its reflection coefficient is twice that of galvanized metal roof panels, which can reduce the indoor temperature in summer and reduce the power consumption of air conditioning. This feature makes it ideal for hot climates.
High Temperature Resistance
GL roofing sheet has good heat resistance and can withstand high temperatures above 300 degrees. Therefore, it can be used for a long time at high temperature.
Smooth Surface, Uniform Appearance
The aluminized zinc roof panels are smooth, silvery white with uniform sequins. It looks beautiful and can be used directly. Therefore, it is widely used for commercial and residential purposes.
Good Formability And Adhesion
The adhesion between the GL coating and the paint is good and easy to paint. In addition, it also has excellent formability. That is, punching, cutting, and the like are easy.
